Hello to new readers, followers, and visitors, and a happen Lenten season to you all. This week I’m taking things slow and trying hard to ward off a cold. Lots of tea, echinacea and elderberry tinctures, bone broth soups and plenty of vitamins. There will probably be naps in my future, although more than anything I should probably wash the dishes and do some laundry. I’m doing my best to avoid sugar for my Lenten fast and combine those efforts with a new Bible study and some quiet time for prayer and reflection.

 We have President’s Day off, and we’re looking forward to bowling, going out to dinner for a late Valentine’s day date, and getting in a couple more episodes of House of Cards. What are you up to over the long weekend? Let me know, I’m always curious!
